Get Paid to Create, the Credipple way.
Can you imagine working with a team that is as dedicated to your growth and success as you are?
Let’s play a little game of TWO TRUTHS AND A LIE: Creative Edition
- As a creative professional, it is possible to be a part of an agency that equips you, supports you and encourages you to do what you love (and get paid for doing so).
- As a client, having the brief and the budget is enough; there is a reliable platform that exists to find you the perfect creative professional for the job without you having to sift through 326 creative professionals only to select the wrong one.
- Tupac is still alive, in Cuba to be exact.
In an ideal world, all 3 are true, but we can only prove 2! So believe us when we tell you there is a world where creative professionals and Clients alike do what they do best and there is a platform designed specifically to do the rest.
Lethabo Sekhu, (Marketing & Fulfillment Lead) talks about all things Credipple in the Tech Tuesdays interview on PowerFM with Pabi Moloi.
Who Is Credipple?
Credipple serves to connect Clients to creatives and digital services by matching your project briefs to trusted professionals in the Credipple network. The company was founded by three friends who believe in the development of the cultural and creative industries to bring more work opportunities to professionals.
“Our job is to help you sell your services and get you paid”
Credipple is driven by their desire to make an impact within the industry. They do this by leveraging their community of credipple professionals and partnering with other like-minded organisations to facilitate learning and development workshops which are designed to equip existing and aspiring creative professionals with the necessary tools to operate not only in the Credipple Marketplace, but also independently on their own.
All of Credipple’s endeavours are carried out on the idea that credibility has a ripple effect.
What is the Credipple Marketplace?
The Credipple Marketplace is a collaborative ecosystem designed to bridge the gap between Clients and professionals. This is done through an online marketplace for creative and digital services, making it easier for trustworthy work to be done.
Inspired by the #OpenUpTheIndustry and the #CreditThePhotographer movements, Lethabo explains how the trio realised that the true gap between creatives and work opportunities, was not capability, but credibility.
“The truth is that people want to work with people they can trust”.
So, how does Credipple go about building trust between Service Providers and Clients?
“For the Professionals, our focus is incentivising trust and for the Clients, ensuring an amazing customer experience”
Whether you’re the Client or the Service Provider, you should by signing up to the Credipple Marketplace. Here’s why:
- The Marketplace functions as a vetting tool for both Service Providers and Clients alike in order to establish a safe and trustworthy working relationship for all parties involved.
- As a Client, you are relieved of the duty of finding the right match for your brief; the Credipple team takes on the responsibility to find trustworthy professionals for online or remote work opportunities especially regarding the availability, credibility, and reliability of professionals.
- As a Service Provider, the Marketplace is dedicated to helping professionals access more Clients and succeed in the global online economy, giving professionals the opportunity to earn more income.
If anything, the C in Credipple stands for co-sign🤝.
How do I know if the Credipple marketplace is for me?
Ask yourself the following questions:
- Do you have a real-world problem that needs a creative solution?
- Of Course you do, so we invite you to find a service in the Credipple Marketplace
- Do you offer one or more of the following creative competencies?
If you answered yes, you should definitely join the Marketplace as a Freelancer
The Credipple team is not only dedicated to empowering creative professionals in their own right, but also through partnering with various organisations to deliver creative solutions to real life challenges.
Through partnerships with organisations like the Goethe-Institut and Fak’ugesi, they have launched a number of initiatives that have proven just how well the concept of ongoing learnership works.
Lethabo speaks on how their most recent collaborative project, Hack Ur Culture, saw local and international creatives come together to develop a solution for GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums) Institutions in light of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
With the pandemic forcing the world to take a drastic shift into the digital space, not many industries were fortunate enough to survive. GLAM institutions, like many other industries, were faced with real life problems that needed creative solutions if they were still going to participate in the new global economy, further emphasizing the need for platforms such as the Credipple Marketplace.
The Hack Ur Culture project brought together GLAM institutions, creative minds and tech enthusiasts with the aim of enabling collaborations and innovations deriving from open cultural data, bringing African cultural heritage to the forefront of virtual experiences.
“For us, the focus is to work on building professional, trusted digital careers”
In essence, the Marketplace has proven itself to be a safe space for creatives to gain the appropriate experience and exposure in order to showcase their work, enhance their skills, grow their network and ultimately succeed in a global online economy.
When we think of what makes one credible and eligible for working opportunities, education, work experience and social networks come easily to mind.
Within the creative industry, credibility is certainly not one dimensional; it is a combination of many elements. The Credipple Marketplace aims to be a platform where professionals can showcase / represent all the elements that come together to define them as inCredipple.
So, whether you’re a Service Provider with some skill to spare, or a Client looking for creative and/or digital services, the Credipple Marketplace is the missing strategic link in your creative value chain.
Come as you are, with what you have and we will do the rest.
